Pizza

I was part of a team to feed these baby lambs running around this countryside. My team and I went inside some building and started grabbing pizza boxes of different shapes that were all around 6 feet long and stacked sideways in a corner. We tried to find places to put them so they would all open. They had crazy toppings on them.

15 or 20 bucks

I haven't written in a while because I started taking Ambien and I must not be waking up for as long so I don't remember my dreams. I don't take it every night, but since I only remember dreams every once in a while and forget to write.

Last night I took a different sleep aid, and kind of remember my dream.

One part of my dream is hard to explain. The part I can explain is that Luke and I were at some sort of show and I was sitting by this older man who kind of made me uncomfortable. At intermission, he started talking to me. I tried to be nice. We walked over to this bar area that was right by his seat on the aisle. He offered me 15 or 20 dollars. I didn't want to take that from him. He said it was rude and if I didn't want 15-20 dollars, I had to take something of his from the case in the bar. He said it was alcohol, but when I looked in there, I saw some really expensive cologne. He kept pestering me, so I asked for 15-20 dollars. I made it back to my seat with 3 crumpled dollar bills.

Dogs

Dream:
Luke and I had stopped by the pet store like we always do when we go to the mall. We did a few more things and then were sitting at home doing homework like we always do. About a half hour later, I realized there was a dog sitting on the chair of the couch. I told Luke "Oh! We do have a dog!" And I started playing with the dog.

I turned around and Luke was playing with a little dachshund. He put it down to run over to me, but it started playing with another dachshund.I put the big fluffy brown dog down and it ran over to a big fluffy black dog. I was so excited to play with them, for a minute, I didn't care that we weren't supposed to have dogs. Then one of them barked and it brought me back to reality that we had to figure out what to do with the dogs. I remember trying to figure out if there was a way to keep the dogs.

"People who insist on telling their dreams are among the terrors of the breakfast table." -Max Beerbohm

I had better keep that in mind. I guess you only read this blog if you want to, so does this solve my problem?

"Dreams are . . . illustrations from the book your soul is writing about you." -Marsha Norman

If this is true about my dreams at night, can you imagine my book?

The Simpsons

Dream:
I was watching this infomercial about this seal suit that you can swim in the ocean with and it was showing this real looking seal sliding around over this whale. I told the person sitting next to me that that is not realistic. I have seen a whale and seals don't slide over whales like that. Plus, whales are way bigger.

Some other things happened and then I turned into Lisa Simpson standing on the curb with Homer Simpson. We had a bag with that seal costume in it and we were contemplating how to use it. All of a sudden, some water came down the block and started filling the street. It was really blue, like in a cartoon. Homer said harmlessly, "this isn't a flood" ans started to walk out into the few inches of water in the street. I looked down the street and saw a huge tidal wave coming and alerted Homer. He told me to get into the seal suit. It was in a big bag and it was smashed against a car, so I yelled at him to help get it out. Well, we didn't get in the seal suit in time, but we got the suit open and it acted like a parachute. At that point it felt like I had been in that position before and had not been able to hold onto the suit. But this time I did and I managed to crawl into it. Homer was still hanging onto the outside as we were REALLY high up in the air.

We spotted a boat and I told Homer to bring his knees up to his chest and we would go down faster (kind of like those guys in the flying suits). We almost hit the boat hard and Homer put his legs back out. He tried a few times and we kept going up and down and getting dunked in the water (it has to be a little comical since we are cartoons, right?). We finally landed on the boat.

Fake eyelashes

Dream:
Luke and I were in a hotel and he had plans to have dinner with his ex girlfriend. Instead, he hung out with me through most of dinner. When he went to sit down for dinner with his ex, she was so mad, she immediately got up and left the table. She was all dressed up, prom style, so I knew she was trying to impress him. I know all of this because I watched through a window.

Luke followed her and then I starting thinking something was up. So I stopped on the stairs just outside of the room he was in to eavesdrop. I overheard Luke talking to his mom on the phone and he said "Thanks for your support in this mom." So figured out that Luke was thinking about leaving me.

I went back to my hotel room and Luke's ex was sitting on my bed. I wasn't surprised for some reason, but I asked her how she got in. She said she owned 1/3 of this hotel. She them proceeded to tell me she was going to help me through this tough time. She was trying to be nice, but I could tell she was rubbing it in.

I got up and walked to the vanity/bathroom area and opened a cabinet. There were rows and rows of about 30 eyelash curlers. I asked Luke's ex if these were the hotel's or did my Aunt Carleen bring ALL of these eyelash curlers. She said her mom must have just put those all in here. I figured I should put some fake eyelashes on then.

I didn't know how to put them on and it was kind of awkward. I started out for my eye and naturally just put it on my upper lip. The girl said it looked good, like it was supposed to go there. I realized I had put it in the wrong place though and proceeded to fix the problem. Luke's ex, however, went into the shower area where my sister was taking a shower and was somewhat successfully convincing my sister that Luke should leave me for her.

Yoga at work

Dream:
We had a late meeting called or work and we all sat in a circle in the room. There were a lot of students there who normally weren't there, but I assumed they were there for a special announcement or decision or something.
All of the professors started leaving the meeting early until it was just one professor running the meeting and students. I got a little mad that they called the meeting and couldn't stay for the whole time.
We started doing yoga to end the meeting to TV on one side of the room. We were really crammed in there because there was an off-white futon taking up much of the middle of the room. Some of the students had to stand in the back and watch. I took a break for a minute and when I got back, 3 students had taken my place. I found another spot. I remember looking at Simone who was really really flexible and thinking she must be doing something wrong to get so far down tot the ground in triangle pose.
Toward the end of the routine, some dog started jumping around and doing cute things and we started chanting funny things at it. Then a man jumped and did some wierd thing and we said some chant about him. Then it was all over and we were all laughing. I thought I should know whose dog that was, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
My friend Krista came and picked up her dog, and then I realized I should have known that, but I haven't seen her in a while. When I got home, I called Krista, but she was busy and put me on the phone with her fiancee. I didn't mind, because I like him. He was upset that they paid $8,5oo to rent a clothes steamer for a wedding and they couldn't return it for their money back like they were told they could. I said they could have bought one for that money.
I ended up going over to Krista's only to sit at their table while Krista's fiancee went through Krista's parent's bank statements and Krista was hilighting some other papers. I remember thinking that they seemed like real adults and I don't do that kind of stuff yet. Some day.
